Recognizing this as an “all-hands-on-deck” moment, faculty, staff, students, alumni and the broader Chequamegon Bay community have come together in a variety of ways to chart a direction forward. Efforts include:
- Creation of a work plan focused on multiple contingencies that faculty, staff, students, and community members can plug into.
- As part of the work plan, coordinating with Nicole Foster, Assistant Professor of Sustainable Community Development, to facilitate a two-part community visioning session on Monday, March 18 and Wednesday, March 20
- Planning of local fundraisers in support of Northland
- Development of a vision based on the community gatherings – this is forthcoming and will be shared on the Our Plan section of the website.
